where did the time go? our baby turned two march 22nd!! i just can't believe it! she's such a big girl! this year bryce had two parties, one with her play date buddies and another small one with family. here are some pics from the festivities...

on sunday, i celebrated my 29th birthday! i can't believe i only have one more year left of my twenties, crazy and kind of sad! oh well! my birthday was great! brian took the day off, which was AWESOME, and we just spent the day running errands and hanging out as a family. we started our day with a breakfast run to IHOP, totally white trash deliciousness!!! then we ran to babies-r-us to pick up a toddler bed for our crib escapee, hit the mall for a must have cookie cake, and then spent the rest of the day putting together bryce's new bed and getting her room completely baby proofed.

everytime brian would screw in a screw, his shadow had to do the same! she was so sweet, while brian was putting together the bed, she would pat his back, smile and say 'daddy'...which i summed up to be her small way of thanking him! love it!

i have to say, our first night wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to go. she did really well for such a big transition. she came out a few times at first, but eventually fell asleep and then came out again around 2am, but went back to bed easily. i'm so proud of our big girl! hopefully the transistion continues to go smoothly, but only time will tell.

hooray! i finally broke down and bought a new card reader so now i can download pictures. the other one is still m.i.a and will probably be lost forever. here are some current pics of our girl and what she's been up to these days....

getting ready for moms day out! she is now going twice a week, and we are all thankful for that! she loves going and seeing her friends and we get such a kick out of her thinking she's such a BIG GIRL strutting on in like she owns the place!

showing off her woody doll. we are in love with all things toy story these days....not sure why bc she's only seen toy story 3 and is scared to death of it once they enter the day care. oh well! who can explain it! speaking of toys and moms day out, we have learned that our child is a hoarder of toys!!! she walks into the room, gathers her baby dolls and doesn't let go until the end....NO MATTER WHAT OR WHO TRIES TO STOP HER! sharing is definitely something we need to work on....let me just add that to the list with about 100 other things! a moms job is never done! i'm exhausted!

this is our new thing....wearing socks on our hands. she will wear them all day, even while eating. one night while she was asleep, i saw her on the monitor take her sock off her foot and put it on her hand....again, all while she was asleep. crazy!!!

look at this face! this is the face of a STRONG WILLED child who is now in full blown terrible twos. she pushes boundaries constantly, throws fits like no other, hits, throws, yells 'no' and 'mine'....you know, all that stuff i swore 'my child would never do!' i'm totally eating my words!!! i desperately need to make a run to the library and check out the book, how to raise a strong willed child, and memorize it from front to back. super nanny where are you!!

and then there's this sweet face! this is the face of my sweet baby who loves her mama and would never think of hitting her. i love this baby!!! this baby gives hugs and kisses, rubs and pats your back, runs her fingers through my hair and is just all sweetness. when i see this face, i tell myself i must not be screwing her up too bad and maybe she won't need therapy when she gets older for all the ways her mother did her wrong!!! love this girl with all my heart, good and bad, she's worth it, over and over again!!

what we've been up to...

SO, sure enough, in my last post i promised not to abandon my blog, but unfortunately i haven't been able to keep my word. i really only like to post if i can throw in pictures and here lately i have been such a slacker mom. i have hardly taken any pictures of my adorable girl....it's just too hard and i've had a case of the lazies!! bryce either runs from the camera, stares into it like a serial killer, cries, or tries to steal it away. so these days the camera hasn't had much activity. PLUS, bryce has 'misplaced' our thingy that plugs into the computer, which then you plug your memory card into {i'm not all that computer savy if you couldn't tell!} i say 'misplaced' because she loves to come into brian's office and play, but it's never the same after she leaves. we can't find stuff for days. and sad to say, but this is one of those items that she 'misplaced'....i keep hoping it's going to pop up somewhere, but no luck so far.

ANYWAYS, we have some good news, we found out last thursday that we are having another GIRL!!!!

and we couldn't be happier. i started crying in the ultrasound room thinking about having a house with two little black headed girls running around...SISTERS!!! i have strange fantasies about dressing them up exactly alike and taking family portraits, them sharing rooms and being the best of friends. but my mom informed me this probably wasn't going to come true and they would more than likely spend most of their time fighting....which could very well be the case! but i can still fantasize while their little, right!! i can't wait to see if little sis looks like big sis, if she's going to have curly hair like bryce, is she going to have the same strong will and sass as her bestie, who knows, which i guess makes it all the more exciting! i'm probably the worst pregnant lady ever. i'm extremely impatient and tend to think the worst. i'm definitely trying to enjoy this pregnancy, being it will be our last, but i also can't wait to have her here and know she's healthy and safe. come on july!!!

besides finding out we're having a girl, not much has been happening around the kraft household. we're doing the usual, going to play dates, bryce is going to moms day out now twice a week, which we ALL love, and brian's work has really picked up. we all just try to survive the spring and not kill each other!

hopefully, fingers crossed, i will be able to post pics here soon so that i don't abandon my poor old blog. happy valentines day to everyone!!!!

SO, i have been such a bum when it comes to the blog here lately. i have just not been able to get around to posting new pics. at nap time, i try to lay down for a bit and then once bryce goes to bed at night, my tail is on that couch in front of the tube. i promise to do a better job here on out! PROMISE!!!

we also have some exciting news to share with everyone....bryce is going to be a BIG SISTER come july! we are super excited (and a little nervous) to have another kraft baby in the house. we will definitely keep you posted with the weeks to come!

this halloween we attended our annual halloween party at a friend of ours. it was really fun, tons of kids and lots of delicious foods! i really slacked this year on bryce's halloween costume, and had to then rush out last second and pick her up something. brian wasn't too thrilled with the final outcome, but he had to admit she looked pretty cute! here are some pics from the party. most of them are of her on the move....she is really getting tough to take a picture of these days....she either won't smile, won't look at the camera, or puts her hand out for us to give her the camera....anyway, here's what we got...

it's FINALLY fall here in the sunshine state! we are absolutely LOVING it! no longer do we get drenched in sweat just walking to the mailbox! we've enjoyed playing outside, especially in the mornings and evenings! here are some pics of us enjoying the beautiful weather and some others that i thought were just too cute to leave out....

so, bryce has officially completed three days of mom's day out. she goes every friday from 8:30 to 12:30. she eats lunch there and then we come home for a nap. she absolutely loves going to 'school' and playing with all the big kids. they accept kids from walking to age 3, and bryce loves to follow around all the big boys, she doesn't have time for kids her own age! ha! even though she loves to go, it is SOOOOO hard to get her up and at em' and out the door without a HUGE meltdown. here are some pics of bryce going to 'school'...

bryce had so many visitors during the trip. brian and i were so thankful for our family who came into town to help us watch bryce while we were busy with reunion stuff...bryce got spoiled during their visit, one of her gifts was a sweet teddy bear from her gigi and gg-pa...

we had a lay over in houston, and bryce made a couple of friends while waiting for our next flight...the mom and daughter next to her were so sweet and helped us entertain the lady...

we were doing anything we could to get bryce up and moving to try and use up some of her energy, so brian sat at the opposite end of our gate and i sat by the window and she would run back and forth OVER and OVER again!!

the lady decided to quit on life, she had had enough!!!

one of the nights we met a bunch of friends for dinner at the miller's, bryce loved the bouncy house and playing with new friends!

{i'm so upset b/c we didn't get any good pics of bryce and her buddy's from this night, so sad}

my best girlfriend, katie, came into town for a visit with her two kiddos and we had to make a run to the mall for a little play time...

we've been home for about a week now, and it's been so nice!!! bryce has been a lot better, and a lot of her fussiness has gone away! since being home, we've just been hanging out and trying to get back to 'normal' only to ruin everything when we leave for tulsa in a few weeks! ha! here are some pics of us hanging out!

SO, here we are again, out of town for two weeks for lovely pro-coverage! lets just say, it's been quite the adventure! all i have to say is, traveling with a 15 month old is for the birds! lord, bryce has been on fire since day TWO, we are now on day TEN and have a few more to go...i think this is the most she has cried her entire life!! our poor neighbors, i'm surprised we haven't been kicked out of our hotel yet or had social services knocking on our door wondering what we're doing to our poor child that she feels the need to cry 24/7!!! my patience and parenting skills have been put to the test!!

oh well, memories, right!! ha!

as i've posted before, bryce is in love with rbi, which makes me happy b/c since having bryce the dog has really taken a back seat and moved way down on food chain. this makes me sad, b/c i said that would never be me, but here it is, and it's totally me. at least he can always count on bryce for a little tlc...whether he likes it or not!

so comfy, don't mind if i do!!

she walks around all day, points at rbi and yells 'dog'
brian is really pleased about this b/c her only two real words are 'mama' and 'dog'...'daddy' will soon make its appearance, i promise, don't worry brian!! ha!

i love this picture and it also scares me at the same time! bryce is such a ham, which i think is great especially if she can learn to walk through life laughing, but this is also such a ornery smile and makes me worried for what lay ahead. we have been extremely whiny here lately, mostly in the morning, and we are also throwing fits...several times a day! she likes to throw stuff, hit the dog, throw herself on the ground and 'quite on life' as we call it, flare her arms and legs, and just cry! lots of fun around here, gotta tell ya!!! :) i guess it's as to be expected with a 14 month old!

here are some pics we took yesterday of bryce during her nap...she was out cold and lovin' her some minnie! i love these pictures!

here's bryce's new chair! my grandma has one at her house and a few of our friends have it for their kids and every time bryce sees a chair like this she won't get out of it. so, we decided it was time for her to have her own. brian put a few different choices on the floor for her to pick from and she kept going to tinkerbell, so she was the lucky winner. she loves it! :)

ps...see how she's holding her baby in the picture? well, if you can't tell, she's holding her by the neck. this is how she holds all her babies and this is how she tries to hug other kids...by the neck, with two hands and she also usually comes up behind them! let's just say, other children aren't too receptive to her advances! i'm not sure where this comes from! ha! :)

14 months..

bryce turned 14 months on may 22nd, so this post is a little late, sorry! these days, she is really becoming such a big lady and a complete toddler. brian and i are having so much fun with her. i say this all the time, but ever since she started walking our life has changed so much...in a good way! it is so much fun going to the park, swimming in our little kiddie pool and just everyday little things have become so much easier now that she can follow us with ease. very thankful the lady is a walker now!

her hair is getting so long that a bow is necessary to keep it out of her face! i can't wait to put it in pig tails! although, she probably won't let me take the time i need to fix it since each day she puts up a huge struggle just for me to brush it! it amazes me that each day she continues to fight it, when will she just get used to it and give in!

the stroller and minnie are favorites around here! a huge shout out to granny, gg and gg aunt sondra! both were b-day gifts and she plays with them always!!

she has especially grown fond of minnie! she carries her around all day and treats her like her very own baby. minnie sits in the high chair with bryce, bryce feeds her food and gives her a drink from her sippy cup, she puts her on her shoulder and pats her back and minnie's also become a must at naps and bedtime. it's really fun to watch her playing, she's such a little mama in training!

and here she is using the stroller for no good. a fun game she likes to play, is chase rbi with the stroller and scare him by clipping his heels. it's awful, poor rbi. she absolutely loves it though. she thinks it's the most hilarious thing ever. here she is chasing him! sorry rbi!

what else she's up to these days...

*pretty good eater, still a little weary about certain veggies, but green beans and broccoli are favorites. loves all fruit, especially grapes, blueberries, strawberries and bananas

*answers no to EVERYTHING you ask her!

*points and grunts/whines at whatever she is wanting you to get for her!! she is definitely communicating more, which is nice, but we look forward to the day when she can talk

*loves to dance and sing...her favorite song is 'bah, bah, bah'...she just says it over and over and moves from side to side...loves dancing to the 'hot dog dance' each morning on mickey mouse club house

*obsessed with her pool, and is actually pretty brave in there

*loves the park

*very social, loves trying to hang with the big kids

*gives kisses and hugs, will lay her head on our shoulder and pat our backs, love this

*absolutely hates getting her teeth brushed...shakes her head no, pushes our hands away, throws herself back, cries...i'm sure her teeth will be rotted by the time she's three! ha!

*wears 18 to 24 month clothes, size 4 diapers

*still hates getting her diaper changed, fights us every time!

*makes funny expressions constantly, loves to laugh at herself after doing em'

*still loves rbi, she pats him and gives him hugs and puts everything in his mouth...i have to go chasing after him bringing back my Tupperware, cups, her toys...he's definitely a huge fan of her too, which is really sweet

*holds our hand when we walk places, love those little fingers

on mother's day, we went and bought bryce a little pool from wal-mart. she loves it! she cries each time we have to take her out and go inside. she likes to splash and put her face in the water, which is very surprising considering she screams bloody murder when you get a drip on her face during the bath! who knows! and she loves to get up and walk around, but we've had a few spills from this! the pool is a great way to pass the day, especially here in florida where it is already so hot and humid!! plus, mama gets her tan on!!! i think this is the whitest i've ever been!! i'm transparent! ha!

brian had two days off last week, so we decided to go and visit our local park. we've always driven by it, and it's always been super busy, well now we know why. it was such a nice park! it was nice and shaded, the turf was really soft, it was separated into two parts - one part for the older kids and the other part for toddlers, and there was a lot of fun stuff for her to do. we had a really nice time and bryce loved it. we will definitely be making more trips to the park, especially now that bryce is more mobile! ( i'd like to take this time to give a shout out to the photographer, brian, he was working hard to get some great shots!! thanks daddy!!)

13 months...

brycie girl is thirteen months old today! this has been an exciting month for us...she is walking all over the place and becoming a big time toddler!!

this is still a favorite spot for her...the windows look out into our front yard and she loves to stand here with rbi and look at all the cars drive by and pray that one day her parents will take her outside! ha! i promise bryce, here in the next day or two we will venture outside to play, poor lady!!

a new thing for her is to pull/hold something while she walks around...usually she picks the most awkward and heavy thing to carry...here she is pulling the box her diapers came in...

this is her new ornery smile...she squints her eyes and scrunches up her nose and gives a huge grin...i love it!

i can't open the dishwasher without her hightailing it to the kitchen...i have become real sneaky and quiet when it comes time to do the dishes...she is now also getting into our pantry and pulling everything off the bottom shelf that she can reach, somehow she always seems to find her snacks, hmmmm...

bryce and rbi=best friends for life! she has fallen so in love with him! she squeals with giddy when he plays with her, pretty cute!

*we can say 'love your baby' and she'll hold her and give her a hug, so sweet!

*SOMETIMES we say, 'where's your toes' and she'll grab her toes, but like i said, it's only sometimes, we're still working on this one!

*she's mastered her fake laugh, it's one huge HA!, and then she moves on to something else!

within the last few days, bryce has fallen in love with her bow bands...she tries to put them on all by herself, but it doesn't quite work out in her favor, so we have to help her out...she wants to wear them ALL day, even after they start to leave impressions on her poor head!...here she is with one of her bands and two other bows she decided she wanted in...silly, silly girl!

here's bryce's early b-day gift, she had a blast playing with it! it's pretty cool, it has a door she can crawl in and out of, and all sort of other interactive pieces! she is in desperate need of more 'toddler' like toys, she wants nothing to do with her baby toys anymore! yeah, for us!! ha!

11 months...

well, we're only one month away from being one year old! our little baby is growing up!! here are a few pics of our 11 month old!!

what's new with the lady...

*she is babbling all the time...her favorite words are mama (of course), dada, bah bah...

*she loves to dance, clap and pat her legs...she loves the theme song to "the office" and will sit and bounce to the song, so cute!

*she is really getting after it with her walkers...she's so proud of herself while cruising around!

*if we let her, she would play on our bed all day long...she loves to climb all over the pillows and sit up and fall straight back...the lady's crazy...brian calls her his little tomboy and he does this while he is throwing her all over the place and hanging her upside down...scares me, but she loves it!

*her and rbi are still besties, as you can see in the pics up above! even though i complain about his shedding ALL the time, he is such a good dog and is so sweet to bryce. he is so gentle and protective and truly loves the girl. i need to be nicer to him!!

*i really feel like she has changed so much in the past month. i feel like she is starting to communicate more and let us know what she likes and doesn't like. i can't believe she's getting so big! love her!

well, unfortunately, the time has come for brian to return to work!!! so sad, makes me shed a tear! bryce and i have been so completely spoiled having him home with us everyday for the past few months, that i don't know what we'll do. i'm sure there will be some whining, pouting, stomping and crying somewhere along the way...hope bryce can be strong for her poor ol' mom!!!! we decided to make brian a present just to let him know we love and miss him already!

are you not just dying at those curls!!!??? they kill me! it was extremely humid today, and those curls were out of control! i love it!!! i can't believe my kid has curly hair, where did they come from!!! :)

i love this picture! bryce has been busting a move here lately, and it is about the cutest thing i have ever seen. anytime music is on, she will bounce to the beat and move her arms. here she is dancing to some song that was on the tv! ADORABLE! she is so cute, i can't get enough of her!

10 months...

bryce is now 10 months, and i can't believe it!!! time is really flying by, and she is changing so much! she is almost a year, WHAT!!!! i never thought we would get to this, but here we are!!! at her nine month appointment she weighed 23lbs 4oz and was 29in long...we got ourselves a growing, healthy little girl!!!

each day brian and i crack up at her, she has such a silly personality!!! i hope she keeps this silly side and goes through life laughing!!!!

what she's doing these days...

*into absolutely anything and everything...she tries to open cabinets, she can get into the pantry, open doors (if they're cracked), she climbed up on the fire place the other day...definitely keeps us on our toes...we take turns chasing after her...great workout-up, down, up, down!!

*loves books and magazines...likes to look at the pictures and turn the pages

*loving table food...we can't eat in front of her without her wanting a bite!!

*pulls up on everything and now she is "creeping" while holding onto a piece of furniture

*waves

*screams using her 'outside' voice in a new high pitch that she loves...i find this so precious, and somewhat egg it on...wonder if i'll love it as much at dinner in a nice restaurant!!!

*is obsessed with our bed...we have to shut our door or she will spend all day in there trying to climb her way up!

*plays "fetch" with RBI...she will hold up his toy, he will come and take it out of her hand, then he'll come back, and she will pull it out of his mouth...so cute!

*loves all food! taking 3 bottles a day

*2 naps a day

*extremely social, loves to be around people...has a starring problem like her mother!

*totally teething, i think she will get several teeth at once...been somewhat fussy b/c of this

*loves to be outside

*her hair is getting longer and soooo curly, especially on really humid days!!!

*still loves her bath

Each day we love her more and more...love her so much we just want to hug her, squeeze her and kiss her to death!!!! she's our big lady!!!!

bryce is 9 months, and we can't believe it!!! she is only 3 months from being one, crazy!!! the girl is definitely on the go and has changed so much...here's what's new with the big lady...

*my favorite, and of course the most important of all, her first official word was "MAMA," it absolutely melted my heart and was the best thing in the world (she said it for the first time today)!!!! loved it!!! can't wait to hear it more! (and now i can quit annoying everyone around me by saying "mama" nonstop, but see it paid off, ha!!!)

*she is crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up on EVERYTHING, we had to begin the hard core baby proofing b/c she is into absolutely everything and if she can get her hands on it, it goes in her mouth!

*she can open cabinets, crawl up & down a small step we have in the house, pull up on window sills, pull up on the fire place, run away from us and many other big girl things!

*she smiles constantly, such a happy baby!!!

*becoming extremely social...loves to be around people, especially other kids, she smiles and babbles at them, pretty cute!

*has been on an airplane a few times as we made our way to Texas!!!

*still a good eater, hasn't turned anything down yet...taking 3 bottles a day, 7oz. each, dining on baby food for lunch and dinner, with a snack thrown in there somewhere, about to begin introducing some table food

* her two top teeth have broken through

*insanely in love with mickey mouse...she loves the mickey mouse clubhouse and when the 'hot dog dance' starts going, she grunts and groans and is locked in, complete concentration...stalker :)!!!

*is now clapping

*crazy about books, loves to be read to and also likes to just sit and rummage through one by herself

*loves tv, totally my fault, it's on all the time, oops!!

*celebrated her first christmas and hanukkah...was totally spoiled by all the family, she is definitely loved by many

*taking two naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, anywhere between an hour and two hours each...everyday is different

*wearing size 4 huggies, 12 month clothes

*definitely has some sass to her, we're a little worried what lays ahead for us!!!! :)...she is quickly learning the words "no," "soft," "be nice with mommy's hair, necklace, glasses, etc," "sweet with the puppy, bryce, don't grab his hair!!"

*has the BEST laugh, goodness, it is the best thing and it's so loud!

*so cuddly at nighttime right before bed, she just lays her head on your shoulder and snuggles in for some lovin'....

absolutely crazy about this girl!!!! love her so much, it hurts!!! love you, brycie!!!

oklahoma/texas visit...

we recently returned from our oklahoma/texas visit where we visited with friends and family. we had SOOOOO much fun, and i was sad to leave. here are some pictures from our trip, unfortunately, i didn't get any pictures with bryce and all her new friends she made when a group of us got together, plus some family was left out...sorry guys...our camera is no good and pretty much every picture comes out blurry, so i quit on it!!!

well, kindermusik came a little earlier than we thought. we signed bryce up for classes starting in february, but they had an opening, so we jumped at the chance to start earlier. here are some pics from bryce's first day of class.

i'm sure you'll be able to tell by the pictures, but bryce had a blast! she absolutely loved the class and was into everything and EVERYBODY. i was excited to see how she would react to the music and instruments, being that at home she is a HUGE fan of music, and no surprise here, she loved every bit of it!!

what a great time for the three of us! brian and i are amazed each day at the personality on this girl and how much FUN she is. we laugh each day at the silly things she does and just can't get enough of her. we are loving being able to sit back and watch her take in new experiences and LEARN daily. i seriously could not ask for a better baby...she is absolutely everything i ever wanted and exactly what i imagined during those long 9 months!! it makes my heart melt when i see her smile and know that we are a part of her happiness! love you brycie girl!!

brycie girl is 7 months old!!! she has been soooo busy this last month....

what she's up to these days...

*sitting up on her own

*OFFICIALLY crawling!!

*her two bottom teeth have come in and i think more will be coming in shortly

*reaching out for us to pick her up...i love this! this is something i've actually been waiting for!

*loves to pull herself up while holding our hands and stand...she has such strong legs

*enjoying her social life...play dates and story time at the library...i am so excited b/c in februrary we will begin Kindermusik classes. i can't wait!

*loves baby food and still hasn't turned any food down...shocker, i know!

*we went on our first airplane ride to Texas. she did really well on the plane, which was a relief.

*two naps a day...one in the morning usually for an hour or hour and half and one in the afternoon usually two hours

*still in size three diaper

*wearing 9 months to 12 months in clothes

*four bottles a day...5-6oz

*bedtime at 6:45-7:00PM and wakes up around 6-7:00AM

*likes to drink from her sippy cup where she usually has to take several breaks and sigh b/c it's just such hard work

playin' with Teddy...bryce's great grandparents got him for her before she was born and she loves to play with him. she will just stare at him and touch his hair, and then of course, Teddy's nose goes straight to her mouth!

grandma randy got this for bryce and she loves to take baths in it. she makes us laugh b/c she will prop her feet up and just lounge like she is so big and needs to unwind after a long day at work. life is so tough for a baby!!

finally, it felt like fall here in florida. i went a little overboard and dressed bryce as if it was the dead of winter, but she has so many cute outfits that she hasn't been able to where due to the weather. she looked so cute and cuddly!

6 month appt...new high chair...peas...and random...

monday we went to bryce's 6 month appointment for her shots and check up. she did great with her shots, they didn't seem to effect her like the 4 month shots did. so, that was good. here are her measurements:

height: 27 1/4 in.

weight: 20lb 10oz

she's really only gained a pound or so since her 4 month visit, which kind of shocked us!!! :)

here lately, bryce is on the go. she wants to be on the floor moving...rolling over, creepin' (crawling)...so we have to be very careful where we put her and make sure we are watching her carefully. we recently had to pull out the high chair because she will not stay put in her bouncy seat while we're trying to get stuff done in the kitchen...she rolls out of if...here are some pictures of her trying out the high chair for the first time...

this is after we ate our yummy meal of peas...the face pretty much says it all...she was pretty indifferent when it comes to peas...we didn't hate em', but we didn't love em' either!

6 months....

Wow! our baby girl is 6 months! i really can't believe this day is here. i remember when bryce was first born and how 6 months just seemed so far away, and now here we are. i was looking at pictures of bryce today, and i can't believe how much she has changed. she is so wonderful, so much fun and such a mess. i wouldn't change one single thing about her. she is just the baby i wanted!!! enjoy the pics...

what bryce is up to these days...

smiling and laughing all the time...and when i say laughing, i mean cracking up so hard she gets out of breath and starts squealing!!
rolling from belly to back and back to belly
army crawling all over the place...we really have to watch her b/c she moves fast and is into everything!
not quite sitting up on her own yet...we're getting there though
sleeping through the night, so exciting!! she goes down between 6:45 & 7pm and wakes up anywhere between 6 and 7am
mostly sleeps on her belly, but she is a wild sleeper and moves all around in her crib and flip flops throughout the night
really has just now found her fingers
everything goes into her mouth, she doesn't discriminate
she loves anything electronic...remote controls, phones, keyboards, cameras and she loves other peoples fingers, she's marveled by them
loves music
absolutely hates when i change her diaper, not when brian does it, just me! she lays there grunting with her legs as stiff as they can go and just stares at me, like try it lady, i dare you. it takes forever, and we both dread the diaper change.
she has definitely started to show her sassy side. she has been throwing some fits here lately when she is not pleased with what's going on around her or if her food is not prepared fast enough. it makes me worried about what's to come!!! :)
loves her bath, but only if the water is really hot
loves to fake cough, which usually leads to her gagging herself. she has also mastered the fake cry!
i believe she is teething, but no teeth have popped up yet
is about to begin baby food, which i'm excited about
loves to watch and observe other babies and people. she'll probably have a major staring problem like her mom.
loves the dog...likes to pet (grab handfuls) his hair, likes when he licks her hands. he is the first one in her room when she wakes up from naps and in the morning and he is the first one to her side when she cries
drinks four 7oz bottles a day, with cereal twice a day, wears size 3 diapers in huggies and 6-9 month clothes
her favorite songs are 'twinkle, twinkle little star' and the 'ABC's'

So thankful for her and we can't wait to see what these next 6 months bring! love her!!

brian and i are currently traveling to georgia, north carolina and south carolina with baby in tow for his pro coverage. our first stop was in savannah, georgia and then we made our way to myrtle beach, south carolina, which is where we are now. myrtle beach is so pretty and our hotel is great. unfortunately, with a three month old baby along for the ride we couldn't enjoy the beach and pool as much as we would have liked. here are some pictures from along the way...

this picture is part of our attempt to take bryce to the beach. we had quite an ordeal to even get her to this point...after we moved the car three times trying to find a closer parking spot to the beach we realized there was no good spot to walk bryce onto the beach in her stroller, so we walked back to the car yet again, put the stroller up. we then attempted to put her in her new bathing suit, which was so cute, and happened to be a three-sixth month suit, but we soon realized it wouldn't even fit over her thighs. that's okay bryce, it's all muscle!! so we decided to go for it just in her diaper, but she then started getting fussy and i was about to die from a heat stroke, we then just called it a day. we'll try again before we leave!!

so, bryce has now discovered her reflection in the mirror! her swing has a mirror that sits above her and just in the past few days she has discovered what a cutie she is! she will sit and look at it for hours, not really, but it gives me enough time to wash bottles, do dishes, fold laundry, and whatever else is on the to do list for today. and for that, i am thankful.

so, we made the move from the swing to the pack-n-play and are slowly making our way to the crib. yes, that's right, bryce has slept in her swing day and night now for almost a month. don't judge!! this is our girl all swaddled up before being placed in her pack-n-play for some much needed z's. (don't look too closely at our bed...the sheets were in the wash! :)

This is a favorite position of ours...so this is my view of her most of the day!

sweet baby girl!

I loved this dress, but didn't think we would get much use out of it for another month or so since it's a three month outfit...oh no, baby girl fit right into it with no problem at all. She definitely isn't missing any feedings here lately! We took her for her shots at 8 weeks and my girl already weighs 14 lbs 5oz. Yes, that is the size of a four month old!!

We started a new bedtime routine this week and so far it's been really successful. But, I was having a hard time getting all the essentials for bedtime ready with a 15 pound child in my arms. So, I ended up putting on a Baby Einstein video for her to watch while I got everything together. She absolutely loved it! It kept her attention for the entire video...30 minutes. She was completely interacting with the music, sounds and characters. They would make her smile and coo, so adorable! The new babysitter!!! :) The two pictures up above are of her watching the video!

My first Mother's Day was great! Here are a few pictures from our day and some other random ones. (These aren't the best of quality, so forgive me!)

Bryce passed out on Brian while waiting on me to get ready for dinner. Sleepless nights and days on the road are getting to us all!

The three of us at dinner. I was nervous to see how Bryce would do at a restaurant in her car seat. She likes it if we are moving, but once we stop, she wants out. Fortunately, she did awesome. She pretty much slept the whole time except for the very end.

We are starting to get some smiles from this girl! Here's one I captured while she was sitting in her bouncy seat. Look at those cheeks!! (Sorry the picture is a little out of focus, gotta work fast with the camera)

I know this picture is out of focus too, but I loved that she had her new bow on. The headband is a little big for her now, but I love how girly it is. Maybe we can get another one tomorrow, she started to get really annoyed I was making her wear it!

Not the most photogenic on Bryce's end, but we had to put a picture up with Bryce's big brother and protector, RBI. When she started to fuss, he came running to see what was going on and if she was okay.

A day of firsts...

Today was a day of many firsts...

We had our first outing to a public place and Walgreens was our destination. Bryce and I went to get some pictures developed and she did fabulous...she slept the whole time! It was so nice to get out of the house for a bit. On our way, we jammed to the radio and took in some fresh air. She's my little buddy!

Before we headed out, I decided it was time to cut Bryce's nails for the first time. She was so calm from her bath, so it went better than expected and she just sat there like a champ. Thank goodness, because I was so nervous. Whew!!

On our way back from Walgreens, we checked the mail and were so excited to see that we received a package from great grandma. It was our very first set of bows! Here is a picture of Bryce with her new bow. So adorable!

Wow! I can't believe a month has already come and gone. My baby is getting so big! Time is going too quickly. Today we had a photo shoot to commemorate being a month old, here's what we got...

Here's Bryce hanging out in her bouncy seat while Brian and I made breakfast this morning. She got a new toy that plays music and it put her right to sleep. She's pooped, such a hard life she leads!

Hey everyone! I finally have my own blog! I have been saying that I was going to do this for awhile now, and I finally did it! I am very proud of myself considering I am no wiz when it comes to computers. Now I just need to figure out how to download pictures from my camera to the computer. Yes, I know, how sad on my part!
